1st Thematic Tournament Series: Choose the Openings!!

Ok! One more vote for the Caro-Kann, one more for the Four Knights, one more for the French, and two more for the Ruy Lopez! I'll give it one more day, then I'll make the Ruy Lopez tournament tommorrow (or at least one section of it.) Thanks for your votes guys!

No problem Hurricane.  I'm pretty busy right now, but I'll get the new tournament up as soon as I can. 

The Marhall Attack! 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.0-0 Be7 6.Re1 b5 7.Bb3 0-0 8.c3 d5 9.exd5 Nxd5 10.Nxe5 or something like that.

Thanks for the suggestion ajian, but it looks like chess.com changed the different possible thematic openings so there are way less now, and they are all common openings and variations, and not that long. Unfortunately, the Marshall Attack isn't on there anymore.

French Defense - 3 votes

Caro-Kann Defense - 3 votes  (and some variations)

King's Indian Defense - 2 votes  For some reason the plain "King's Indian Defense" isn't an option anymore to choose for a thematic opening, but several variations including the Averbahk, Orthodox, Fianchetto, and Saemisch are available. Which of those would you guys prefer?

Reti Opening - 1 vote

2 Knight's Defense - 1 vote

4 Knight's Defense -  1 vote

Slav Defense - 1 vote

Italian Game - 1 vote

Sicilian variations - 1 vote

Marshall Attack - 1 vote, but unfortunately chess.com removed a lot of their thematic openings, so this one is no longer on there.

So, the next two tournament to be created will be the French and Caro-Kann! Keep an eye out for these very soon!

Thank you for your votes JairoPCJr! I forgot that we actually already had a vote for the Reti, so we have two now. 

I'm sorry, but the French O1500 tournament has already been created and started! The U1600 section will be created as soon as one of my tournaments in progress finishes (since I've hit my max and can't create any more tournaments at the moment.)

Ok, thank you everybody for voting! This topic is now closed. The final three tournaments of the series will be the Caro-Kann Defense, King's Indian Defense - Orthodox Variation,  and Reti Opening. Due to my tournament directing limit, it will be awhile before these are created, but they will get out there!
