Hi all. Just in case I am not able to start a match, the fixtures and rules for the 2018 league are as follows.
Round 1- January
Essex v Northern Knights
Round 2 - February
Cambridgeshire v Essex
Round 3 - March
Essex v Suffolk
Round 4 - April
Essex v Kent Checkmates
Round 5 - May
London Knights v Essex
Round 6 - June
Essex v Marches
Round 7 -July
Munster v Essex
The minimum number of players for division 2 and 3 matches will be 4.
Challenges should be sent at least 2 weeks before the match is due to start and the matches should be locked by the final Saturday of the month. Either team can send the challenge. All matches should have a start time (eg the final Saturday of the month) included, so the match will start automatically on that date. If a team does not have enough players on the day the match is due to start then they will be given one extra week to find the extra players. After this week is up the opposing team can choose to claim the match by default.
