Surely the best way with 24 entries was to give last year's quarter finalists (or the top 8 Div.1 teams) a first round bye, and then have the other 16 teams go into the first round (resulting in 16 teams in the second round)?

Marches win against Northern Knights. If the match ends in a draw - Marches will win on board elimination. Round 2 Lancashire v Marches Please start asap.
Below is the draw for the 2019 cup. Matches can start anytime in November. Either team can send a challenge. The final will be a 3 way affair this year as I feel this is the best way with 24 entries. The rules of the 3 way final are described below. Once a match has started please post a link in this forum and when team has achieved enough points so they can't be beaten please post the result in this forum.
Round 1- has been drawn at random, and the schedule is below. Once a team has achieved a winning margin they progress to the next round. 2nd round matches start as soon as both teams in fixture have progressed.
The random draw for round one as produced some interesting ties- Norfolk v Suffolk, Worcs v Birmingham and Connacht v Munster. Plus sorry Yorks and Dorset find themselves repeating their tie from the 2018 cup!
