2025 CHALLENGE: RIGHT SQUARE PROMOTION

Hi! This is another 2025 challenge. And like many of the other ones, it is closely related to Pocket Chess.

Thus the "Right Square Promotion" or RSP challenge

Quick Reveiw.

Create a variant where there is only one or two promotion squares to achive checkmate.

Rules.

1. Must be a relevant position.

2. Promotion must be one of the key ways to win, if not the only way.

3. Goal of promotion must be checkmate or capturing a piece to claim win. (No "I promoted to a camel to get a camel")

4. Variants that have 2 promotion squares to achive checkmate will count.

5. Variants with three promotion squares don't count.

Important Notes.

- it can be a WoF or NCV.

- Promotion has to be one of the main ways to win, but variants where promotion is not the only way to win will count.

Interesting. May you add Catastrophe with a bit of rue adjusting (no limit on the amount of promotion squares)

Also, Cata and Delicate both have 4 promotion squares...

DG has only one promotion square that can achive checkmate. And i just reliazed that i may have to remove Cataclsym

also,this challenge is almost drawish if no promotion&all the pieces will protect 1 square

If your promotion is set to something like wildebeast or night rider, and the king is in a inescapable box, then smothered mate is likely if promotion occurs. I also added 2 night riders and 2 camel riders to make things more interesting.
