An issue that needs fixing. Really. I mean it.

This may not be an issue for most people, but for me it's a major one.

I write fairly long articles that extend way down the page.  I often change font color.  When I select text and click on the new font color (actually, it happens in I select "bold" or any other text attribute), the text does change but the cursor jumps to the top of the page (which scrolls up with the cursor) and I have to search from my place. Since I alter the text dozens of times in a single article, this becomes very annoying, very time-consuming, very quickly.   I have sent in several bug reports on this over the past several months, but to no avail.
