4 player chess too good!

 I am supposed to be on this site to practice for otb but am spending all my time playing 4 player. It almost too good, and great not having to worry that opponent miht be using engine

Think of it this way... Your studying chess options with 4 player, easily.

It helps with vision???

I never thought I would say this, but I actually prefer 4 Player Chess to regular chess. Both teams and FFA. 

Same, it more exciting and unpredictable especially FFA.  With some really lol moments.  Every game is very different, and can turn really fast.   Normal chess now seems very dull be comparison

Same here.   Especially team though.  Free for all is a bit of a free for all....    Team requires a lot of precision.   In ffa you can just make random waiting  moves while others attack themselves and hope to win that way, or maybe some idiot launches an attack on you while you  prevent another idiot from queening, and the whole game is ruined for you and the first idiot. So unless there are 4 good players in ffa,   it's not very interesting after  the initial excitement is gone.  And it doenst have any potential to be played on a competitive level considering the high incentive for cheating and the near impossibility there is to seperate real cheating from situational alliances if the players collude in a subtle way...    But Team play is really complex  and is all about skills, and besides sandbagging to help a pârtner gain more rating in his game,  there is no way to cheat.

I feel like in the long run FFA has good possibilities, but it's simply not enjoable if not played with good players... I can win but what's the point if I don't have fun? Of course team is very different
