4000 rating for M2 back rank checkmate puzzle

Welcome to my world of Puzzle Rush Survival. This is an excellent example of what I get after the 75ish mark. I mean, how hard can it be?

If I understand correctly, its 4000 rated because puzzle ratings change based on how people solve them. So puzzles that are new or otherwise not touched begin with ratings of 4000. I have seen a lot of 4000 rated puzzles but never one over which leads me to the conclusion that it is the max.
I'm not sure what the reason for this is but my best hunch is you want puzzles ratings to be determined by the better puzzles players not the weaker ones because invariably there are people who get the right answer by simply guessing the first move.

In custom puzzles, it gives you easy ones because there is nothing else it can give,
wait did you set the range to 4000?

I'm pretty sure new puzzles don't start at 4000
I just know when I was a diamond member and was looking for really hard puzzles I always set it to 3000-3950 because if I set it to 4000 I would get a whole bunch of easy puzzles. I guess I had made some kind of assumption. My bad.
