Report at Link: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/5th-cycle-of-swiss-open-90m-30s-1-rd-every-2-weeks-start-on-jul-01-open-for-registration?page=1#last_comment
We have done 5 cycles so far, where each cycle is running smoothly. I thank you all for the commitment and support. The number of withdraw / Forfeit game are relatively small, and most of you are doing great in negotiating and scheduling the game with your opponent in promptly time. We have a small but solid community of Classical Time Control enthusiasts. I will try my best to conduct the regular tourneys continuously from time to time.
The new (6th) cycle of SWISS OPEN 90m+30s will start on Oct 01
Number of Rounds: 6
2 weeks frame between a Round and next Round.
Schedule:
Round 1: Oct 01 - Oct 15
Round 2: Oct 16 - Oct 31
Round 3: Nov 01 - Nov 19
Round 4: Nov 20 - Dec 03
Round 5: Dec 04 - Dec 17
Round 6: Dec 18 - Dec 31
Date/time to play: considering the players are from various Continent, we will never use a fixed time, but instead: you will have 2 weeks time frame, to negotiate with your opponent, to find the best time to play the game within that 2 weeks time frame.
