2 of the armor was enchanted, that might have an effect.
The thing is that the zombie was blocking jrzmaths strokes golden armor zombies can do that. :( that makes them hard to kill
I saw a skele in golden enchanted armor. SUCH A PAIN IN THE ARSE TO KILL!
I managed to kill it by trapping it then suffocating it!
I guess golden armor skeleys can too. :3

I once saw a zombie in gold armor and I have to say it was pretty easy to kill. (I had a diamond sword.)

It's actually harder to kill another player if you pillar up, as you can be knocked off, and you have less reach.
its true but you can pillar up and shoot them with a bow if u have one while they pillar up

While playing on the server HoboNation, I made a tiny house and started to advance. I got a faction to protect from destroyers which ruined my past attempts once I got to power 0. One evening, I looked outside and saw a zombie with a full suit of gold (butter?) armor (the chestplate and pants were enchanted)! I tried to kill it with a stone sword, but it didn't take any damage and I was soon dead. Then it picked up the sword and killed me a couple more times before I got the rest of my tools and escaped. However, I found a huge pile of items with a bed, bonemeal, seeds, stone, and other goodies possibly dropped by somebody killed by a zombie to make up for it!
