Credit: @cobranx I just found this. This might help the beginners in Minecraft: MineCraft is a sandbox game created by Swedish developer Markus Persson (aka Notch), released by Mojang in 2011 and purchased by Microsoft in 2014. It is the single best-selling video game of all time, selling over 180 million copies across all platforms in late 2019, with over 112 million monthly active players. In MineCraft, everything is blocky (e.g. sand, dirt, stone, you name it) so they don't really seem real. Everything is 3D and users in Survival Mode (meaning in a mode that you can take damage, gain experience points, and find things to help you survive in a land of nothing but blocky grass and ores) must find things to help them survive. Basically all users who play Minecraft knows how the game works and what you're supposed to do. In Survival Mode, sound easy to do but aren't exactly very easy. So first when you spawn in a world, there is nothing around you but trees and grass and dirt and stone and ores hidden under the grass and dirt. The most important thing in MineCraft is wood. Yes, wood. You need to find an oak tree or spruce tree or whatever tree. Doesn't matter which tree, what shape it is, what colour it is, you name it. All you have to do is find some trees. After you find one (or a few) punch those trees and you'll see cracks forming on the tree. That's good news; you're breaking the tree. Break that whole tree and you'll find brown blocks floating at your feet collect them all (by going near them) and you'll see those items in your hotbar. Then, click C and you can see your whole inventory. You can craft things there, but you only have a few blocks of wood. Put those blocks of wood in your inventory and one block of wood will equal to four wooden planks. You should have a lot of blocks of wood, maybe 30-50 blocks? Then craft a crafting table. Crafting tables will allow you to make more items because a crafting table has a grid of three by three blocks. Then craft a wooden pickaxe, then dig up the some dirt. After you keep digging down (Note: don't dig straight down because there is lava underground in Minecraft. If you dig straight down, then you might dig into lava and fall right into it. So maybe find a tunnel when digging.), you will find stone. Dig up three blocks of stone and go back to your crafting table where you left it. Craft using the stone you have and the sticks you got and craft a stone pickaxe. This is the best time you should craft more weapons other than pickaxe. Use your pickaxe and dig up more stone, as many as you can. You might need a house and some blocks to build it later. Then, craft some more weapons, a sword, a shovel, and another stone pickaxe should be good for now. By this time, night should be coming. Quickly build your house. If you don't have enough stone or you're not fast enough, then dig a tiny underground home. Quickly dig some more stone while you're there. But beware, it's dark, monsters spawn in the dark. (e.g. Skeletons, zombies, creepers, spiders, or maybe endermen.) Skeletons are the ones that are pale white and hold a brown thing that shoots stuff at you. The brown thing in their hands are bows. The things they're shooting at you are arrows. Zombies are these green monsters that have blue shirts and purple pants, they strike at you with their claws from their outstretched hands. If you don't have any weapons with you to help you kill the zombies, then just run. Zombie are extremely slow. Creepers are the ones who have black and white and green blocky spots on them. They can blow up and can make you take an extreme amount of damage or even kill you. Spiders are the shortest and they are pitch black. They are very fast and can chase if you run. Endermen are way more darker than spiders. Don't look at them in the eye or hit them if you don't want them killing you. If you do, they can teleport around you and just keep hitting you until you die. So if you see one, just don't look at them straight in the eye or harm them. I forgot to mention the cave spiders. Cave spiders are dark blue spiders that are usually in mineshaft or in caves. Hence the name 'cave spiders'. They can poison you. If you get hit by them one time, you may survive, but if you get hit several time, then the only thing you can do to survive is drink milk. Yes, you heard me right, drink milk! That is the only thing that can save you. Anyways, if you are in a cave and it's pitch black and you can't see a thing, you should find some coal as quickly as you can. Coal are blocks of stone with black dots on them. Once you find them, dig them up. Then craft some torches using a stick and a piece of coal. That will give you four torches. Put one in the ground near you and can see now. One way to identify is mobs are near in darkness is by their sound. The skeleton's bones clatter. Zombies moan. Creepers hiss. Spiders click. Endermen, well, I'm not sure how to describe the sound they make. Cave spiders make the same sounds as normal spiders. So now that the night is over, you can get out of the cave or hole you spent the night in. Finish building your house and go back underground to find some iron. You may need to dig deeper to find more ores. While finding iron, you make come across some coal, too. Iron ore is the block of stone that has white-yellow spots on it. Find as much as you can and then go home. Then craft a furnace using eight blocks of stone. Put some coal into the bottom of the furnace and iron on the top. Wait for the iron ore to smelt into iron. Then craft some more iron tools. If you have enough, you should craft as much iron armour as you can. I also recommend saving some iron in case. Go deeper into the mine and you might start finding the rare diamond ore or maybe even gold ore. Gold ore isn't really any good for making tools, because they break really quickly and isn't really efficient. Instead, just dig them up and any other ore you find, as usual. Did you know that diamonds isn't the most rarest ore? Emeralds are, actually, they are only found in caves in some specific biome. I don't really remember, but I think it's the mega taiga biome. They aren't really used for anything other than trading with villagers. You can find villagers in villages spread out across MineCraft. If you spawn in a village, that's good news for you. You can go into their homes and steal whatever they got in their chests. Speaking of chests, you should probably craft some to store your items in case your inventory doesn't have enough space. Anyways, if you find gold, dig it up. Nine pieces of gold ore and an apple can be crafted into a golden apple. Golden apples help give you more health and can be useful when fighting bosses like the ender dragon or the three-headed Wither. Withers drop Nether Stars when killed and can be used to craft a Beacon using some glass and obsidian. The same can be for a carrot. Craft a golden carrot using nine pieces of gold and a carrot. Anyways, find some diamonds, dig them up, make weapons, craft armour with leftover diamonds. After that, you should make some obsidian by putting water into lava. Putting lava into water gives you stone. Then make a ring of obsidian using fourteen blocks of obsidian. Then light the centre of the obsidian ring with flint and steel. Craft flint and steel using a piece of iron with flint. You can get flint by digging up gravel. Sometimes it will not give you flint and other times it will. After that, the centre of the obsidian ring will glow purple. Step into it and the Nether will load. The Nether is another dimension within Minecraft and the Nether is a place of fire, smoke, and lava. There are ghasts, blazes, zombie pigmen, and the blocky magma cubes. Ghasts can fly high up into the air so they could be too far for you too shoot arrows at them or hit them with your sword. But you can block the fireballs they throw at you and reflect/bounce back to them and they will take damage. A shield would be good to bring into the Nether. Shields can be crafted using blocks of wood and a piece of iron. Blazes float near the ground so you can shoot them with arrows or throw snowballs at them, since they are creatures to heat. Zombie pigmen won't hurt you if you hurt them. Also, hitting a pigmen with other pigmen near the pitman you just hit will be a lot of trouble. They will all chase you around and will most likely get killed. So better not messing with a group of pigmen. Magma cubes can split into smaller magma cubes if you kill one. Focus on the smaller magmas because if you just hit all the big ones, they will transform into a lot of smaller magma cubes. Focus on the smaller magmas because if you just hit all the big ones, they will transform into a lot of smaller magma cubes. Oh, and, you can't forget the wither skeletons! Wither skeletons are similar to their Overworld cousins but are taller, pitch black, and carry stone swords. If they hit you, you get the wither effect. The wither effect is when you can't feel your health and its poison is slowly killing you. Some of them will drops wither skulls, which can be used to spawn the wither with the help of some soul sand. Spawn a wither by placing four blocks of soul sand in a T-Shape and put a wither skull on top. That will spawn the wither. The wither can throw flaming skulls at you and when spawned, they will glow bright and explode before starting to kill you. They have three hundred health. The ender dragon has two hundred. After that, go back home from the portal you came in from. Break the portal to make sure no mobs will come through the portal and into your house. I am going to make another blog post related to this one. I'm gonna end this one right here. See ya'll soon, folks!

GROUP RULES(2020-8-2): Offenses: First offense will be a warning, Second will be a mute for 3 days, third will be a ban for a decided amount of time. GROUP A: Severe Rules The following rules are severe rules. Breaking them will result in an offense (or possible mute/ban). 1a. No spamming. Spamming can be identified as an utterly useless, completely off topic comment or note. It can also be identified as an overly long post that has no meaning(for example, too many of the same letters). Long posts that have meaning, such as a long explanation, are acceptable. 1aa. Advertisement of anything(i.e. other groups, newest "Manhood Pill", etc.) is not allowed, unless an admin says otherwise. Advertising in designated forums is acceptable. 2a. No repeated asking for adminship. One ask is enough. This rule stems from the fact that in the group's youth, too many people asked for adminship. See exception 2a for exceptions. 3a. No swearing. This applies only to the big words: words like damn, hell, and crap are acceptable. 4a. No pornographic material. Keep things rated PG-13 and below. 5a. Deliberately resigning in team match games will earn you an offense. 6a. Follow all the Chess.com rules. Remember that this club is still in Chess.com. GROUP B: Non-severe rules The following rules are non-severe rules. Breaking them may or may not result in an offense, depending on the severity. If the break is not severe, then it may result in the note or comment where the rule was broken to be deleted. 1b. No personal attacks. This means aggressive name calling, provocation, severe rudeness, etc. 2b. No religious or political debate. 3b. Keep things in their designated forums, i.e. don't post your daily Minecraft in the "How close am I to admin" forum. If there is no forum that meets your standards, then create one. Converse 3b. Do not create a forum to post something when there is already a forum for your post, i.e. don't create a new forum for your youtube channel, post it in the Youtube Channel forum instead. 4b. Please do not cheat in forum games like "Minecraft Riddles". You will ruin the fun of the game. Please just answer with your knowledge EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULES: Exception 2a. New members may not receive a strike if they ask for adminship too much.

I have a 1.19 world and I have full diamond armor and tools enchanted with level 30 enchantments thanks to my zombie Xp farm but I still don’t have mending so idk if it’s worth it upgrading to netherite because if the tools are diamond I can just fix them with diamonds and I have a lot of them but if I upgrade to netherite I cannot fix my tools anymore and I would have to mine extra netherite which is much harder to get than diamonds specially because fortune doesn’t work on ancient debris. So do you think I should upgrade to netherite? Or keep my tools diamond?
