The game is to be played before Monday, December 23 of 2013 @ 00:00GMT. The players must use GMT in their conversation even if they both live in the same time zone. The deadline to offer three (3) time slots for the game without penalty OR to accept one of the other player's time slot offer without penalty is Wednesday, December 18 of 2013 @ 4:00GMT. It's certainly not a bad idea that the uninitiated player reads the Negotiation Samples below, as negotiating with the opponent must be done as shown. Guidelines for reaching the 3 time slot requirement:

1.        A time slot to play before Tuesday @ 12:00 GMT does not count towards the three (3) time slots requirement;

2.        There must be at least 24 hours between posting time and playing time for a time slot to count towards the three (3) time slot requirement;

3.        There must be at least three (3) hours between each of the time slots;

4.        The maximum number of time slots for the same playing day is two (2);

@Players -- There's no reason that one couldn't see the other on the LIVE server. Please note that the period of grace is 20 minutes.

The players are authorized to reschedule the game. If rescheduling is impossible the result of the (first) game will be considered for the standings: 1-0F 

In case of rescheduling and playing the game the penalties, if any, shall nevertheless remain.

@Players -- Because I won't make any pairings for week December 23 - 30, the players have more time to agree and play. They have until December 27 @ 23:59GMT to do so.

@Sailor_Chess -- No need to show up one hour in advance, I can assure you. I don't know what happened last time but here's some clarifications that should help insure the game will be played.

@Players -- December 25 @ 15:00GMT = December 25 @ 10:00EST = December 25 @ 16:00CET. Both players must be on the LIVE server at the same time. By clicking on the «friends» tab one can see the other's username.

At the extreme right on the other player's username line, click «play». Then select the appropriate «initial time» (45), «bonus time» (45), select «rated» (rated) and «I play» (white or black: xjian77 = white; Sailor_Chess = black). Once one of the players has challenged the other as explained above, the challenged player will hear a sound. The challenge player must make sure that the challenge is properly sent and then, accept.

Note that the period of grace is 20 minutes. If one of the players doesn't show up, the other player must immediately post his comment in this Negotiation Forum.
