About the new changes

I don't know why this new chesscom layout was implemented, because it’s honestly a mess. It looks worse than before, it’s harder to navigate, and it’s made the site less usable, especially for people using older phones . The interface feels cluttered and chaotic, like they just want to make the site in their image instead of how us users would appreciate it.

What’s even more frustrating is that chesscom seems to be spending a ton of time and money on these updates that nobody asked for, while the actual chess experience (YK THE CHESS IN CHESS .  COM) is being neglected. We want better analysis tools, smoother gameplay, and features that actually make improvement easier. Instead, we get a redesign that makes everything harder.

For starters of what chess . com COULD be doing, I will make a list of my thoughts. Post a comment of what you think should be added!

• A new update to the train section including drills
• A new update to Game of the day! Nobody really tunes in anymore, but if it was more exciting there would be much more benefit!
• An update to the new player algorithm! I think that new players should be randomly required to play bots that actually simulate a game of their level! This would cut down on cheating because the new players could be caught before they did any damage!

A better way to contact support. I'm just going to say it. Nobody likes and or needs Chessica (support bot). She failed kindergarten and how she got a job working here I can't tell you.




This is just like the profile mess and NOBODY likes it again! Chess.com the reason I stopped my paid membership is because this site does listen to member's opinions. Please fix this...

The support roast was so real lol, but yeah they need to change this asap

I can't even clear all notification. I want to play chess, not to spend 10 minutes to clear 200+ of those. Also it's really annoying that you can't see the full title of the notification, club's name take up most of the space (like you can't see the club pfp anyways).

Clear all is at the bottom of the notification list

It's quite impressive how every UI update in this website never fails to disappoint the users, some way or another.
