Ads in latest Android release? Really??

Since the update this week, I have the same "issue". It's not a big deal, as the app just works, but as "paying member" you just don't expect any adds.
Yeah, I just had to re-download the app on my android because the last update put ads in it. Diamond membership doesn't come with ads, if I recall. Additionally, the ad I saw pop up was unscrupulously trying to get you to click on it by saying it was a missed call button.

The automatic update last night fixed it... thanks!
@smotheredmate1 ... the content of the adds is out of control of the site / app obviously, and usually nothing to be proud of ;-) That's the reason that paying members prefer not to see them anymore...
No ads. Thanks! 
Now if you could just work on the "Play Online" screen defaulting to "Current Games" rather than "Challenges"...

I would prefer the following scenario (in reply to foxmuldr's extra wish):
if there is an actual challange: show it ... else:
if there are open games, show them... else:
show all finished games
I am a paying member to Chess.com. Why do I have to see ads in the app?
