About 5 months ago, I made a forum post about an issue with the clubs button in the android app. If you didn't know, you can just navigate away from the page in app to say a p orn site or the dark web or something, while still being in the app. On paper this means it looks like you spent 2 hours on chess, when you were actually hiding a p orn problem from someone or something else along those lines. I was told by both support and martin (the moderator) that the problem would be addressed as soon as possible. Instead, we got a table slam, bots nobody wanted or needed, a change to puzzles, and more that I probably forgot. What gives, is pressing f more important than someone's mental health, or do you ignore this so you can keep customers?

To anyone playing especially online chess, it is well known that time management is at least as important as the material on the board. But in very many instances, this crucial information systematically or sporadically disappears from the saved games. If I'm not wrong, the clock info systematically disappears for all games played against bots. It also disappears sometimes in the saved games, even more so if you want to share or download the PGN, and this also happens in the saved analysis. (The analysis (which you can for example add to "saved analysis") being distinct from the recorded game, which you can for example add to your "game library".) In some instances, during the "game report" and/or in the " analysis" mode, only the final time is displayed on the clocks, whichever move you go to. In some cases it displays the total = initial time, and sometimes it doesn't display any such information. There is no reason that the clock info ever disappears once it is there. IMO this absolutely *must* be fixed, given that the time control is an integral important and very often decisive part of the game (often more important and decisive than the material on the board !)

When I joined a live tournament, and the tournament is finished, clicking on the link to that tournament which is listed on top of this page: simply does nothing. It would be nice if clicking on this finished tournament would instead take you to the page showing the final standings of the tournament. It's actually near to impossible to find that page using the app. The app should also display a link to the tournament page when looking at your ongoing and completed games. (On the desktop, that link appears on the upper right,  on top of the "game, info, opening" tabs above the move list. For example the "options" menu button could allow to get such a link (maybe with other info like rating adjustment, time control...) This is by the way also extremely annoying when you play (usually several) daily matches between clubs. On the app it's extremely difficult to go to the page of such these events (where you register and where the pairings etc are displayed). (You have to go to the page where all your clubs are listed, then you have to guess which Club it belongs to, and then you have to go on the page of that club and have to find the corresponding event.)
Both the iOS and Android Mobile Apps Game History and Archive displays opponent's Profile Pictures instead of the Country Flags like the Web version of Chesscom. When opponents change their Profile Pictures, the Mobile Apps generate network traffic in order to retrieve the users new Profile Pictures when listing them in the Mobile Game History and Archive. Also, users Profile Pictures can be Not Suitable For Work or viewed in a professional environment. Why can't the Mobile Apps be made more like the Game History and Archive displayed on the Web and list the users Country Flags instead of the users Profile Pictures?

When doing Lessons on the Android Mobile App, all the Coach bubbles have the word YO! added at the end.

My brother is running a daily tournament, and he sent out invites to all of his chess.com friends. One of those friends is my dad, and when he tried to press the "Join this Tournament" button from the app, it led to a server error page. A while later, my brother got a message from someone else who experienced the same thing. I tested this glitch by having my brother send me an invite to the tournament, with me trying to accept it from the app. I got the same thing: There is a way around this (you can simply press the link to the tournament that is also in the invite instead of pressing the "Join this Tournament" button), but it is confusing some people who aren't as familiar with the way invites work. This is a bug, I assume.

Steps to reproduce: 1) Have multiple daily games. 2) Make move in one and submit 3) It should auto-switch to next active daily game upon submission (default behavior) 4) Enter analysis board, make some moves, hit back button And it is not the game you were just analyzing. Not sure if it's due to being in beta but there have been many similar glitches within the last 2-4 weeks cropping up. Hope there aren't any discount new hires with ability to get into a release without proper QA but it sure feels like it.

Hey, as far as I know, there is no Widget for the chess.com App for Android. Am I right or is there one? Because I‘d really like to get notified when I still have to do my daily puzzle for example.

I wish there were more things I can do while offline on the official Chess.com mobile app. 1. It would be nice if there was a function that allowed users to take lessons they had previously downloaded even when offline, and saved lesson progress when they go back online. 2. I would like to see it developed so that users who have downloaded game reviews in advance can use them offline as well. (However, when using the mistake retry function, no other moves can be evaluated other than the best moves downloaded in advance.) 3. I would like to see videos pre-downloaded from the video library while online be developed so that they can be viewed offline as well. 4. The bot and play feature is available offline, but the feature to save matches against bots in the match archive is only available online. So, when I try to save a match against bots in the match archive while offline, instead of an error message, I would like it to be automatically saved in the match archive when I am back online.

In the web version of chess.com/analysis, after I retry a mistake through a game review in the Review tab, when I go to the Analysis tab, a record of the retry mistake is automatically kept, and I save it by saving the analysis.  However, in the mobile app, I cannot save the game review history using the method mentioned above after reviewing the game. Therefore, I hope that mobile devices will also have an analysis save function, and that the records of retries from game reviews will remain even after they are automatically transferred to the self analysis function. *Because my English skills are a bit poor, this text was translated from Korean to English through machine translation.
currently I can't play in it except for  tournaments PLEASE ADD HYPERBULLET (30sec, 20sec+1, 20sec and 10sec)
The New ones are soooooo bad pls change them back or to like this How they are now how they should be (bigger and brighter and more space behind) pls consider
The app feels outdated in many ways. It lags while watching live games, it breaks while viewing the Event tab. Also the UI looks ancient while reading articles. Dark mode does not work in articles. The app needs some major overhaul, so any update when we should expect one?
It's possible on the website but not in the app: - impossible to "react" (with or etc.) to a comment on the daily puzzle page - impossible to upvote and/or downvote comments - worst (at least implement this !): it's impossible to "reply" to a comment ! - I'm not sure but I think it's even impossible to click on a commenter's name to go to their profile. That should *REALLY* be extremely simple to implement, in like 10 seconds! (just put <a href=/member/name>...</a> around the name !)
Hey! So as everyone knows already you can only send up to 10 friend requests to members on the app or through the website BUT IDK if it's a bug but I can send as many friend requests as I wan't in the android app! I had around say 500 friends last 2 weeks but with the bug in place, I've just been clicking away and now have around 2k. Is this going to stay on the app, if it is can it be transferred also to the website?  -Thank you, @DaBaby
I was completely winning in a game up 2 pawns in an endgame but he just wouldn't even draw because I was low on time like 20s and tried to stop premoves with stupid moves and it's just unfair - this wouldn't happen otb. would it?
