@Martin0 has clearly stated in the OP of the tournament:
"The advanced rules for time thief is not used, so the time thief can not restore a captured king."

Time thief is kinda overpowered if you know how to use it. That’s all I can say.

The Time Thief is certainly not overpowered. Please note that it has no normal capture. Most people think that it is approximately worth as much as a Rook.
