Hey, quick thought from someone running a real-life chess program
Most clubs here are active, but honestly really hard to find unless you already know someone or dig through Chesscom, Discord, Instagram, etc
And if you want a proper online presence, you basically have to make your own website, which is a pain so most clubs just don’t bother
I’ve been working with a platform called Chess67 that’s trying to fix that
It gives clubs a simple page plus tools for running events and tournaments so everything isn’t in five different places
If you run a club, I can set one up for you so new players can actually find you and see what you’re doing
