What are the rules of this club? Well, every single club needs rules. Without rules, everything is pure chaos.
🎯 Core Rules :Be Kind & Respectful: No toxicity, bullying, racism, sexism, harassment. Treat everyone like a teammate—we're here to improve together. Report issues to staff privately.
♟️ Play Fair: No cheating (engines, tablebases), or sandbagging in matches/tourneys. Resign cleanly if lost. Follow Chess.com TOS.
💬 No advertising: Do not advertise your clubs, yourself, your blogs, your Youtube or other websites in forums, notes or live chat or anywhere else. You can share GIFs, photos, but nothing that is inappropriate. (remember there might be young kids) If you think that our members will like what you're advertising or you want to partner with this club, ask @USERCHEC-k-MATE in a personal message. Chess.com coaches are allowed to advertise their lessons. You can advertise in the Advertising Forum, just make sure that it is appropriate, not mean, and follows rules.
No spamming: Please don't spam in any sort of way. We have the Spamming Forum for that. If you have questions about what is considered spamming, ask one of the super admins. Also, don't make double forums. Click post one time only, it takes time to load.
Please don't cuss: Remember, there might be young kids.
Respect people and their decisions: Please don't discriminate or judge people's actions. If you'd like to have beef with someone, please don't do it in the chat. Or anywhere on the club. That's what private messages are for.
Stop if someone tells you to: Sometimes you can do annoying things. Let's be honest, since everyone does things wrong sometimes. If someone tells you to stop, please do.
Our system:
First time breaking rules: Friendly Reminder
Second: A little more stern Reminder
Third: A warning
Fourth: Muting for a week (depends on case, might skip to this step or give another warning)
Fifth: Kicked
Sixth: Banned
Any questions can be answered by a super/admin. Please don't ask questions in the chat. There is a forum for that: Question Forum Link(Last updated April 14, 2026)
