Alerts not clearing.

So today I traid clearing my alerts and it din't work

Thanks for posting this, because of this notification I am now able to clear my alerts.

That can happen when the Notification system is lagging.

Same.  This is really annoying me. After I read a message I received, it still shows '1' badge on the messages logo and doesn't go even if I reply to the mail I received.

Only developers can do anything about that. It's certainly a very busy system.
