I installed the CBC Radio app the other day (that's Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, for my non-Canadian friends), and I'm really impressed by it. I can listen to 'live' radio on any of the CBC's three stations (localized to my region), and I can listen to any of the popular shows 'on demand.' It's like having the whole library of CBC podcasts to choose from, but without having to subscribe to anything.
Got me to thinking.. Chess.com has a fair amount of podcast content now that could perhaps add even more value to the iPhone app. I'm thinking that you'd go into the Videos area and somehow branch off to a directory of podcasts which could be viewed 'on demand' without regard to the user's level of membership. I'd sure as heck use it anyway.
