An analysis of my first game vs. a titled player

I accidentally prepared an opening for white yesterday but realized I was to play as black, if I was white I was very happy with this line in the Pseudo-Panov I'd go for as I knew she'd play a Caro to e4 or c4

And imo white is pretty good there

But alas, I had black, so I decided to prepare the Budapest gambit as I went through her games and saw that she only played it once and played inaccurately

Here's the game

I'm quite peeved tbh, she didn't actually play enough rated rapid games to qualify to play this league game and still had Glicko when she won (she went up +80) (Im not gonna do anything because I was just a sub (sorry moon))

Sigh yeah it’s silly but glad you could play. The main player role is yours if you want it. You played well and I think the team would love to have you.

Damn this is so cool. Playing against a titled player must be awesome. You should ask her to join this club!

Also +80?!?! Where can I sign up for this glicko

I am still honored to play a titled player but yeah. She just hadn't had her rating settled yet and I ended up losing another -11 points (in my already massive tilt sad.png)

I don't want to steal the other guy's spot but if he's inactive or something I'd love to keep playing (as long as I don't have to play another underrated CM again lolz)

c5 is a common idea, even in the quiet Nbd2 lines. Still, you got out of the opening alive, which is quite surprising. A funny move in the Rubinstein is:

I knew about c5 but i didnt want to play b6 to prevent it because I was worried about the queen infiltrating on the light squares that d6 and b6 create, but alas black can always play rb8 even though i thought it was kind of ugly. Lesson learned

in the "pseudo-panov", which is officially called the accelerated panov, you can quickly force a positional win as black by just clamping on to that d4 square and placing a knight there. trust me, my roblox display name is "Caro_Kann" (forgot if i told this club or some other about it, but if i told this club, then here's a reminder)
