An intergroup tourney

I am thinking that an intergroup tourney might possibly help us to get to know each other better. If anyone is interested please post here and give your preferred format, time control, etc...

Anything that has 3 days per move works for me. Knockouts, 4-man groups (1 advancing), 5+ groups (2 advancing). It depends on the participation level.

Has anyone heard how the State Championship is going?

Great idea.  I agree that 3 days per move with a 5+ 2 advance if possible.

Team FL v Fighting Illini +5.5-5.5 with 9 games to go

U.S. Championship round 2

Team FL v South Dakota Chess +3.5-5.5 with 11 games to go

I'm in.

So far it seems that there is some interest. 

I will set up the tourney in a week or so. 

Should it be rated or unrated? One or both games concurrent? 

I'll play. It'll be fun.
