Announcing the First Ever (2021) World 4 Player Speed Chess Championship! (W4SCC)

In summary:

1. Due to dire circumstances the first qualifier will be postponed to January 30, 2020. 

2. Semi-final and final times are non-negotiable and have been determined ahead of time.

3. Scoring has been updated separately for each time control during the semi-finals and finals.

4. In the semi-finals and finals, players will be allowed one "timeout" each, i.e. a 5 minute break to be declared by that player.

5. You only have to provide your first and last name and country of origin to your profile. You must agree to other conditions as well and be able to provide a webcam if requested. No "proof of ID" required outside of that.

I'm happy that someone else agrees with me that delay should not be considered bullet. Same with increment. 

Same here. 1/2, currently a bullet TC, takes longer than 4/0 (a blitz TC)

What is it, were you there when the bullet chess time control categorization was written? "delay is not bullet" lol. The championship is increment I think, and of course that time control is bullet.

I think that the time controls are pretty correct

So how exactly does the scoring work? Is it how many points you have in total from all of the arenas, or is it qualifier arenas again?

Webcam and name? Yeah I think I won't be joining...

Also another question, where will the video call be on? Discord, Zoom, or another platform?

I total each individual’s top 2 scores from that category in the Qualifier Arenas. Arena scoring should be 4-2-1-0 unless you won the previous game as well (2 in a row or more means you earn 8 instead of 4)
