Another cooperation in FFA

Hello all,
I want to discuss about possibility another cooperation in FFA. I suppose that strategy cooperation with your opposite is best way for your wins. In recent topic, Grathieben shows this in detail. However, there is another way this is cooperation red with blue. Although this is only a hypothesis because I did not play so. I think it is way as good as cooperation with opposite but just unpopular. TEAM mode influenced on FFA and made variant strategy with opposite popular (gave its debuts and tricks for FFA).
Maybe if players force game in TEAM Variant Red&Blue vs. Yellow&Green or admins make mode TEAM2 this will also effect on FFA. I suppose this influence will be good, because it diversifies FFA games and gives players strategy choice.
What do you think about it? It is especially interesting to hear who played this TEAM Variant.

I agree with this. It's basically how it used to work in old FFA. Give it some thoughts once again. It must make some sense since 2 players came up with this solution out of nowhere. You have to really understand the game

I am looking to see you in the top 20 soon, Hopefully I can get that rating up in about 5 games. I am reading these topics for that sole reason.wink.png

In old FFA, if the left player checks you, the opp and right player will take all they can from you and run. At most, casual cooperation, not consistent cooperation.

Sorry Laris, I have not seen your topic before.
I don’t think it’s worth something to indicate cooperation in the request for the game. The choice must be made by the player during the game. The player just needs to know about this possibility. It is also good if player knows the general schemes of cooperation. For this, the player can practice in the TEAM Variant, which I mentioned above. I suppose this variant can be interesting on its own.
I also think that red is better combined with blue, simply because it moves before green and it is probably more profitable.
