This is not in normal chess.com for a reason, it has a lot of bugs thats why its still in Beta. If chess.com will be able to fix it with the limited staff they have than it is possible to have little to zero bugs.

There used to be a bug where it just showed your highest rated opponent regardless if you won or lost so I guess they fixed that

Yep, that was fixed 4 days ago and mentioned in the comments of the announcement on the feature announcement.
it did say my best win was against a 1500 when I first saw it, then it changed to a 1100

It's not actually fixed in my case, unless my stats page is incorrect, since they report two different opponents. And my opinion, bug or not, is that it shouldn't report games not actually played, since I won both games without my opponent making a single move.
This happened to me too. It was right the second time, but the first time it was just spreading misinformation
The first release was counting the game played against your highest rated opponent, won or lost. That has been corrected. The problem now, for me, is that what it says is my best win doesn't match my stats page.

It also had my puzzle streak at 27 days, when i had a streak of 192 ish.
I have the same bug, but (at least on my side), my best win was against a friend, who was rated about 1900, but the games we played weren't rated.
I think the Stats section either only counts for games that weren't rated, or were only against random people
First, back in 21 of December when I first saw the year review, it showed that my "best win was against Kengorax"
But when I viewed it again today it said that my best win was against "leguas95":
So I went to view my match against Kengorax and I lost that match:
Strange, uh?
