Any update on app interface?

The app feels outdated in many ways. It lags while watching live games, it breaks while viewing the Event tab. Also the UI looks ancient while reading articles. Dark mode does not work in articles. The app needs some major overhaul, so any update when we should expect one?

Events on the app are the website embedded in the app (web-view)

The app is constantly getting updated.

No. I didn't see any major changes in the app for a long time. And way too many features are missing, e. g. saved analysis in daily matches, vote chess, clubs, forums, announcements, blogs, …

The app is getting updated on small bugs. But no major update since long. Probably it is in best interest of chess.com too if a better app gets released .

I don't believe there are any plans for a major overhaul. Some feature changes and updates, bug fixes, and enhancements though.

Puzzle Path from last year is one of the major ones. Something that's not yet available on the website or iOS.

The ability to use persistent self analysis (i.e., save your analysis) in daily games should really be implemented. Also there seems to be a bug with "messages", they often aren't "updated"/loaded and you don't see your or their recent replies, only older ones.

Also when you write a message, you see only one line (or very few?) (same in "chat" during games, IIRC), it should provide a *somewhat*(at least) more comfortable input text area.
