Ask a 2.1k rapid

I suck at E4 idk how play with E4 I only know D4 now I DO KNOW Openings with E4 and played E4 for a year but I now only play D4 in almost everything

how much do you practice chess in a day?
1-2 chess games, and i try to puzzle rush and do some hard puzzles and a daily puzzle, i also analyse my games and read up a chess concept a week. I then try to apply the concept throughout the week.

If I had a coach I would need them to teach me E4
If you are comfortable in D4, you have no need to learn E4. Although many joke about D4, after all it is just a joke and D4 is not bad as an opening.

Caro-kan or Scandinavian?
Both have pros and cons. You should play a few games with both openings and see which you prefer more. You can watch Caro kann speedruns or Scandinavian speedruns by top-level streamers. That's how i decided on Caro kann, I simply preferred playing from the caro position. But both are solid!

I'm looking at trying to make small advantages in the future.
An example game is https://www.chess.com/game/live/128513568513
where i beat an FM! On move 6, I didnt make the best move but I played d6, so as to conserve my d pawn and create a future pass pawn. It may not be the best move against Stockfish, but that pawn won me the game, my best game I played. I can say with confidence this method will definitely work for players at all levels.
