So many are saying that it doesn't matter if auto start is on/off but seem to totally miss the point that you are talking about site software. The safe answer is keep it to off and my daughter (@Libragirl94) was completely within her rights to refuse a challenge that was not in accordance how the TD (@croftangry) had asked matches to be set up. Sean should not then go against one of his own team and in my opinion was very poor of him to do so.
I agree with the first part. In TMCL we are very strict in how matches are set up. I am a league director there. We insist on auto start being OFF. However Sean is doing his best. It’s not easy being a league director and he has my support. It’s a tough job.
What you should do @libragirl94 is message the admin of the other team. Tell them why you are rejecting their challenge and send a new challenge. Easily fixed. Is that what you did? Is it all resolved? I may reject a challenge with auto start ON because I don’t trust the software here.

I don’t remember anything. But I do deal with a lot of people. She must be sensitive. I am female person also.

Thank you for your comment which some of it I disagree with. I will be mindful of @Tricky_Dicky post so if you read both Dad (@Taurusmale67) and my previous comments you will see the following;
1) Sean issued a challenge with the Auto start set to ON. This was against the settings we were asked by @Croftangry20 to set up the match. I refused the challenge and took steps to communicate with Leinster.
2) Both Dad & I have asked why the change and not had a reply maybe we are talking in a different language however I do consider it rude to ignore someone when they ask you a direct question. I am not going into the reason Sean is blocked as this will be against @Tricky_Dicky comment. Sean knows why he is blocked.
3) Both Dad and I feel their is no further need to comment further on this topic however my PM's are open.
I posted in the other forum so I'll share that comment here too for due diligence.
I know the site is oftentimes quite buggy. That said, autostart only kicks in when both teams have reached the maximum number. For example 1-5 players, the match starts when both teams have 5 players.
In this instance, AFAIK, if it's accidentally set to on but there's no maximum number of boards (for example 7+) then it doesn't start until the date that the match is set to, x date and 23.59 time.
As for what was said in the notes, it was posted that the setting should be set to OFF but that if someone accidentally switched it to on, then the match challenge can still be accepted since, as described above, the auto start won't happen until the date and time set in the challenge because there's never any maximum boards. They're all x number +.
Storm in a teacup. @Chambro1970 and @Kookaburrra are two of the kindest and also most active admins on this site, enabling the participation of multiple clubs. If you block either of them you are risking an inability to see or accept challenges from a large number of clubs that either of them help admin.
If Taurusmale67 and Libragirl94 are unable to take fair criticism without taking umbrage and blocking people, maybe they're not suited to being admins for teams in the CCCUKI.

@martinhind3 resorting to personal attacks how every mature of you. I never had a problem with you until now. Also maybe you can tell me who is blocked and the reason as you think you know the facts. I know I have never spoken to you. Furthermore can you provide some form of evidence that gives you the right to decide who is admin?
CCUK&I Admins maybe look up the word consistency cause it appears you say one thing then 5 mins later let something go. Not very good admin practice in my opinion. For the rest of you I am entitled to an opinion and none of you will ever be allowed to bully.
