No checkmates or stalemates can be made.
Automatic Draw In A Teams Game

In this position, there’s no position that Red/Yellow or Blue/Green can reach to win/lose by forcing themselves or each other to be in a situation where there are no legal moves.

yeah totally, I can see that, but they also cannot take pieces or push pawns so the game will terminate in 100 moves (ie no need for a auto draw functionality here)

Or is that not what you are suggesting? I suppose maybe you're just sharing an interesting and novel board configuration, fair enough.

You bring up a good point about the auto draw functionality. I am all about getting rid of that and seeing the game play for 100 more plies. Furthermore, even a drawn teams game should count as halfway in between winning and losing rating gains/losses. I am indeed sharing an "interesting and novel board configuration." I am also suggesting that with just four kings there is a way to stalemate an opponent and by rule if no legal moves can be made on your turn, your opponents win. The following picture is completely hypothetical but it shows that red has no legal moves if it is his turn.

Draws i believe have not yet been implemented in Teams, kinda a bug really. in FFA, it makes sense that if there is even 1 minor on the board, the game continues (unless only 2 players left). what would be good insuff. material rules for teams? also team stalemate should be a draw.

its very hard to write function which can check it, in chess is no automatic draw when all board is block

how about in teams, if 4 kings + 1 minor left, it's a draw? otherwise ppl will have to play 50 moves each

1. I disagree with the idea that we should draw for stalemate. We should keep the rule that a player loses if he can make no legal moves otherwise we have to play out the next move and capture the king every time there’s a checkmate. See the consistency?
2. I also disagree with the idea that we should draw for one minor and four kings. It’s 25 moves per person, not 50. 25x4=100 plies
i never knew there were draws in teams. there are all pawns in the position and if it were a regular chess game with only two people it would be a draw, understand? I don't want to say "get what I mean" again. it's strange.

Rezacz, I agree! Won position, but based on 100 ply rule it depends. Can hero team bring their kings towards enemy kings with their minor piece in 25 move cycles?

4 king +minor its win position
Are you sure about this? I have no doubt that 2 kings+minor can checkmate a lone king, but I am not sure if it is a win with the weaker side having 2 kings that potentially can help each other.
