Banned for aborting one game

I accidentally joined a game when I was trying to play a friend, and it put me into the game, so I aborted it (mind you, it was only one time), and then I tried to play a different game with my friend but it banned me because of "too many aborts". I think this may be a bug, because I don't think one abort is "too many".

my past aborts are at least 3 months old, and this is my first abort in a variant i believe
