Nice, So for the best for me is more complete early development (vs partial development partial attack that turns into less development in the end). And getting easier at seeing traps coming your way

I think 4-player chess is great for board vision. Even though I rarely blunder in "regular" chess, I have found myself hanging pieces quite a few times, especially with the time pressure.
The best thing it has done for me, is getting me to play live chess again, and having fun!
The best thing is that there isn't much theory about it

There is a lot of theory, but the theory is shifted more towards game theory, which is something I like a lot. You have to evaluate your move based on percentages, since you are no longer playing 1 opponent, but 3.
The best thing 4 player chess has done is made me much more defensive minded. Now finding I am much more aware of opponent plans and ensuring that I cover for them.
