It is showing a notification in the play menu when there's nothing and it is showing 9+ notifications when I checked every notification.

No because maybe you do have more than 9 notifications and might need to reload the page

Because now they've capped the sign off at 9 notifications, which is a terrible idea, as I and many others usually have around 50 notifications in 1 day, you will almost always see 9+ notifications. Chess.com Beta, please revert the top bar icon change but keep the side bar and the bits that come out when you click the icons.

When I go to a new page in chess.com, it is showing that I have challenge and 9+ notifications.
Is this a bug or am I lagging? Please tell.
