im just wondering is the Ke2 a solid win here?

That's a Two Knights defence Wilkes-Barre or Traxler.  Kasparov recommended 6.Kf1 leading to a position "with compensation" in BCO, but 5.Bxf7+ might be a stronger line.

im not so sure about the opening name, sorry.  but i have never seen anyone play 6. Ke2!?. why is that?

Beliavsky gave 6.Ke2 a question mark based on an old game by Traxler 6...Nd4+ 7.Kd3 b5 8.Bb3 Nxe4 9.Nxd8 Nc5+ with advantage to black.  GMs all play 5.Bxf7+ instead of 5.Nxf7, so that whole line is likely pretty rare.
