Black list in Live Chess

I would love to have the possibility to blacklist players in Live Chess.

There are some players I don't want to encounter more than once. And blocking doesn't work in this case.

I'm talking about putting some players in live chess block list so next time Chess.com searches for my live chess opponent this player will be excluded and I won't play against this player.

No, blocking doesn't work in this case. Blocking only works for messaging, sending trophies, etc.

Blocking should work in Live as well. (With the exception of tournaments IIRC.)

I've just had a situation when I created a new challenge but I didn't want to play against a player so I blocked him, went back to Live Chess, created a new challenge and 10 seconds later I got the same player again even though he has been blocked.

Does it mean that blocking doesn't work in Live Chess at all or it takes some time to block a player by the website?

It's possible there is a delay before Live sees that you've blocked a member — if so, it's something we'll fix. I'll investigate. (Last time I checked, blocking did work in Live — but I'll take another look just in case.)

By the way, you can block players from within Live as well. The most convenient way (IMHO) is to click on the player's name and then click on the "Block" button in the pop up.
