Thanks Keith, seems to be a good time to mention a problem I have thought may arise. Though the site is informal, I think we need an official LINKS site. If you look at LOCAL-Clubs I have tried to post as much information as possible, a lot of it false( but I am not connected to any of these clubs.)

We now need those who are connected to contact me to delete my entries and the OFFICIAL entries can be made.

As for LINKS, I feel these too must be official and not encumbered by comments. I would like to have a forum that lists all the websites in Yorkshire posted by those who run them in a format easy to read  without unnecessary comments

Next week I'll tell you what else I want for Christmas.

in respect of getting club info, i know bradford's page is up to date, could you not ask the other secretaries of the other leagues to supply something similar, i would have thought they all should have a list

I have gathered information from all over, but the problem is it isn't forced to be upto date. Stannington is an example, they have recently moved if I hadn't noticed mis-information could be on Y.O.B.S indefinitely.

A lot of Associations don't seem to put information on their sites about individual clubs, I presume because their players already know where opponents play. If you wish to attract new players this information must be made easy to find, thus Y.O.B.S-chess.com
