Hi_Calvin

So I was reviewing a game I recently played and noticed that the game review says I am threatening to win a bishop even though it is clearly a rook.

Not quite relevant, but...

At least you aren't going to lose the rook without compensation(if Kg1 is played)...

actually a rook trade would be good for white because of the queenside passed pawn.

However black can play for a draw for repetition by repeatedly checking the king(or destroy the kingside pawns)

Lol

I get that a lot too, but I thought that maybe the attack was indirect or some 3000 elo tactic, so I ignored it.

Huh??

So wierd

I think that it's thinking that you will be a bishop up after that move

I don't think that's how the computer works

I thin kit sees that after Rxe8+, Bf8, white must sacrifice the rook for the bishop, and white only wins a piece. If white doesn't sac, he get perpetualed

QiTianDaSheng2011

"Perpetualed" as in perpetual checked
