Such a thing would be pretty interesting 
I would love to play in bughouse arenas.
But if we know that they're coming soon then don't let this problem bug us for now

What is the format of hte arena? Do you need to bring your own partner? We pair you with a random? A new random each time or are you stuck with the same person?

If you have to find someone before you enter, the turn out will be really really low. Which would make for pretty boring event.

it could be you can find a partner, or get paired (by rating so the average is even)
nonetheless, it would definitely not be easy to schedule

So you stay with same partner the whole time? What happens if your partner just quits and leaves you hanging?

good point. I guess it would be that you can find a partner whenever? (for arena)
but your partner leaving is a risk(?) for everyone

Instead of arena, bughouse swiss tourney is better. If your partner withdraws, it will make you withdraw too. So in a swiss tourney, you will enter with a partner, and if you don't you'll get paired with a random partner (But high risk of him/her can withdraw in the middle so better find one before entering)

We have bughouse tournaments on the way. I was just trolling you all by posing some of the questions we struggled to answer when we were coming up with the format.

Why no bug house arena? Me an d my friends love to play bug hose online. we are pretty good. But we don't know how good we are because we don't have tournaments for bug house. there is bug house tournaments real life so why not in chess.com?
