Hey, thanks for your report. I unfortunately cannot reproduce, can you please share a screenshot of where did you get a link with semicolon at the end?
Bug in Match links.
I'm sorry, Milan but I don't know how.
I hope this will do it. It's a link containing the message.

I hope that you can see that there's a semi-colon at the end of the link that he sent.
The same happened with another club but I no longer have the message.
Whatever happens, I appreciate your looking at it.
As you asked me Theo, here is the screenshot and the original link to the news item that you got with a semi-colon. I guess only club members and staff will be able to follow the link.

Thanks, Alex. That's exactly what I received with the exception being that mine included a semi-colon at the end of and part of the link.
I had the same problem within a day or two from TGBE.
Welcome, Theo. Just adding a piece of information that I do not know if it has anything to do with the situation: people who usually complain about the wrong links are from Australia. The links work for the vast majority of club members.
That's interesting, Alex. And I agree - the links for most go through without a problem but in almost very match, I receive a few messages that the link was wrong. I'll know now to ask them to send me a copy of what they've received.
The difference is that with these two that I mentioned, they were from, "News", items and not messages.
As a result of having received two PMs or notes asking me to join a match, I have noticed that the link was wrong. In both instances, the link received had a semi-colon as part of the link.
I asked both admin's to check what they'd sent and send me the link in the chat. In both instances, the semi-colon was missing and they said that it was not part of what they'd sent.
I've had feedback from some of my members saying that the link was wrong and it set me to wondering; is there someone in the computer-room who has nothing much to do so is adding semi-colons to links to while away the time?
Here's one. https://www.chess.com/club/matches/outback/1012374/games ;
If you high-light all but the semi-colon, it works fine.
