Whenever I want to play with someone on a different computer on free for all I start a game and then he starts a game. But then his computer says possible cheating detected! you may not play yourself! Then I exit he starts but then on my computer it says possible cheating detected! you may not play yourself!

Are you using two different accounts...?

You are being stopped from playing because you are both using the same internet connection. There is currently no way around this in Free For All. I suggest playing Teams. Once we release Custom Games, you will be able to play all 4 players on the same connection in Free for All, but it will be unrated.

Would it not be better to just prevent those with the same internet connection to get paired with each other?

@Martin0 it is as you suggest. Players can play on the same connection but not against each other.

I tried for testing purposes to play two simultaneous games from different browsers, but it is not possible. The one of the two always shows the generic (and inaccurate) message:

Disconnected!
You are either having connection issues or the server is down for maintenance. If the server is down, your games will be restored when it comes back online.
Stay on this page to be reconnected automatically...

Refreshing the page makes the board appear, but then the other browser shows the «Disconnected» message.

On second thought, I was thinking of allowing several members on the same connection to be in the queue at the same time, but still not get paired with each other. A very minor difference though and either solution seem fine.

I was using to different accounts. My friend was using his own account and I was using this one

So now I get it. Thanks!
