This used to happen with USCF ratings too. The point difference was so great between you and your opponent that the formulas must not have worked to give a positive integer for when you won.
Bug report: Lost 3 rating points without losing a game?

Ok thanks
Your opponent in one game may have dropped super fast due to the RD factor, if they were new. Your expected increase may have changed suddenly. If they went from 1300 to 800, before your game finished, you might not have gotten anything for winning.

This was live chess and It said win 0 draw -8 lose -16
If I remember right, I once had a game against someone below 600 and winning was somehow minus one point. I thought maybe it was a way to discourage strong players from cherry picking the weaker ones for points. This was quite some time ago and I thought nothing of it. Maybe it was a bug ?
Being a casual player I only play unrated games. I don't concern myself with the rating offered here...
As you can see in my archive My blitz rating went up to 1553, but then in by next arena game it was 1550? I won both games, it doesn't make any sense. I should be at a new high of 1557 but those 3 rating points disappeared.
