Bug Reports for v 0.028

Place bug reports for version 0.028 here.

On the main home machine there is a bug getting into Settings a second time.

1. Start the app already logged in.
2. Tap "Settings" to go to the settings screen.
3. Tap "Home" to return to the main screen.
4. I now cannot get back into settings without closing the app and starting it again.

In the settings I have it set to "Go to Next Ready Game" after I move.  Instead it is returning to the Game List after every move I make.

Using my premium membership the main video on the Videos page will not play.

1. Open the app.
2. Tap "Video Lessons"
3. Tap "Play" on the Counter Attack 1 video which shows at the top for me.
4. The "Loading Video" screen comes up for a couple of seconds.
5. The loading video screen goes away and the whole videos screen is dimmed and does not accept any input.
6. I have to quit the app and restart it to do anything.

Most of the other videos in the various sections work for me.  Just this main video never works so far after 10-15 tries and rebooting the iPod Touch.

I have an iPod Touch 2nd generation with 3.1.1 installed.

I also get the same behavior when viewing videos as a guest or when logged into a non-premium account.

the issues with videos not playing is not actually an iphone bug, but a problem with the video upload process. we are working on it! if you ever encounter a video that does not play, please let us know immediately and we can re-upload and fix it. thanks!

The video "Playing for Equality as Black 1" doesn't load on my iPod.

Same major bug as last 2 versions: I cannot make any moves in online game. Can't even select a piece to move. (Anyone else experience this?)

There are no captured pieces shown below board.

It always shows the online games (and finished games) with white on bottom of board even when you're playing as black.

Video - after playing part of the first video, I click on done and it returned to the Videos menu screen where it locked up.  Not sure if this falls under the iphone/ipod issue or the program.

Tatics Trainer - after getting one of the tatics wrong I attempted to reply - it wouldn't let me move any pieces

Play Chess Online - not able to move any pieces when it's my turn.

After logging out, I created a new user account. (jamestest)

I never logged in, but after I created the account it took me to the main menu page.  From here I was able to see the finished games of my other account (jrmscooter) Not sure if this supposed to be like this.

Push alerts (little number in the upper right corner of the icon) only appear after I start the application and exit out.

also having a problem with not being able to move in my online games and I can't replay in tactics trainer. In the latter after I hit replay, it resets but does not make the opponent turn first, thus I can't make my first move. Also my 960 games don't show up at all.

1st Gen iPod Touch w/ 3.1.1

I seems that there is a maximun number of games. Yesterday I had 30 waiting games now about 5 and I´m playing about 35 games. In this conditions I can not make and open challenge in my iphone (it says "Error Too many games waiting" this takes place not only with 30 waiting games but also now when I have only 5 waiting) but in both conditions (5,30 waiting games) I do can accept other user open challenge (as I have just done)

Yes, the same thing happened to me.  I reproduced the problem the next day (it still would not let me make any moves).  Will keep trying and report back.

I'm looking at a current game (online) in which it is NOT my move, and I'm seeing the board from my opponent's point of view.

And I'm wondering if the fact that my last move was a triggered conditional move might have something to do with that...

I *knew* there was something missing down there!  :)  Yup, same for me.

I'm not seeing them either.

at one point tactics trainer just crashed and the application exited.  And as someone else reported if you don't succeed in tactics trainer and choose "try again" it doesn't work.  The computer doesn't remake the first move and then you can't move any of your pieces.
