Got it. Looks like the
is being striped out for some reason.
When you say "editing" a post. do you mean this was only happening to you after you initially post and then go back to edit it later?

It happens when initially composing and also when trying to correct it via editing the post.
Here is an example:1. Composing the post
2. Editing the post
Here is a workaround with an unformated _
1. Composing the post
2. Editing the post
Editing the problem by inserting a ctrl-enter does not correct the issue as the
disappears. Trying the add whites space before the ctrl-enter also gets stripped. The workaround of adding an unformatted character shields the
. Also an enter is a
which also doesn't get stripped, but double spaces the line.
@jas0501: Thanks a lot for your detailed explication.
This pseudo amelioration lasts already for several weeks now. As it was new, I've tried to add a missing line feed to a comment. My modication has been stripped and I've got a "Community Guideline warning" for repeatingly posting identical comments. ![]()
Would be great to see this fixed ... one day.
Editing a forum post any ctrl-enter proceeded by formatted text is lost upon posting.
For example
yields a post of:

Unformatted ctrl-enter
example.
versus
Fromatted ctrl-enterexample.
