You need to change name of the club to take out the # and maybe the . as well. We used to allow those charatchers in names, but do not any longer. That will fix it for you.

That helps to understand, why it doesn't work anymore and it looks okay in the case of all those funny characters in club names. But it rests impossible to challenge a club which has e.g. its name in cyrillic letters. I run a vote chess competition with several clubs in this situation. If two of these clubs are paired, none of them will be able to send the challenge.
You should make it so it requests the owner to change the name of the club
I am in a club called 1.f3# When I try to accept a vote chess seek with it says the club name has to only have numbers, letters and underscores, but the club already exists
