Bug - Unable to add email to account

I am attempting to link my email to my chess.com account. However, when told to check my email for a confirmation email, I am not receiving said email. Is this a bug in Beta, or a general bug?

As of right now, my email is not linked, which is already weird as I am almost certain I made the account with my email linked.

i dont know about it but i have a email linked and i want to change it but i also can't

try leaving beta and then trying

i just left beta and tried again but it didnt work so according to me this is a general bug

If you created your account with a linked authentication method, such as Facebook or Apple, you won't have an email associated and I'm not sure you can do it yourself. You'll probably have to contact Support directly to add one

but my case is different i have a google email linked and i want to change it but i never get the comfermation email

I see; the reason I'm trying to add this is because I was trying to link my chessable to my chess.com, and that action is not possible if I don't have an email connected to my account.

I'll contact support then. Thanks for the help.

Since you're linked with Google you may also need support help. If your account was created that way, it wouldn't have it's own password, and if you changed the email you wouldn't be able to log in.

no when i created my account i just did the normal process of typing username, email and password and some more things like friends etc,

Then be sure to check your junk/spam folders and if that does not help, do a mail search for any email from Chess.com
