Bug when pasting links in group notes

Placing a spurious semicolon is a bug, of course. But reconsidering my earlier message, I realise that the link I had posted might not have been that useful after all. "newCommentCount=1" seems to be context specific and does not work for other users. (Or neither for yourself once the comment is not new any more.)
It would be much more to the point if you could place a link to a specific comment in a forum thread. This doesn't seem to be possible at the moment. Why not? Could this option be introduced?
When I paste the following link in a group note:
https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/2018-wcl-multi-team-players?page=1&newCommentCount=1
the editor automatically adds a semicolon after the ampersand, which destroys the link. See the most current note in

for the unwanted result.
