Since the title of this thread is Bughouse, does anyone know if I can place one of the pieces that my teammate captured onto a square that places my opponents king in check? I played bughouse a few years ago and we weren't allowed to do that so just making sure.

You are allowed to place pieces to check an enemy king. Restrictions include no pawns on 1st or 8th ranks and you can't check him with a piece if you are in check (caveat on that restriction: if the piece you place blocks the check it it valid).

Hello, me and a friend were trying to start a game of bughouse but we couldn't figure out how to do it
About bughouse here on this site: often when I start a game it ends immediately with the announcement of someone's win after I make the opening move or before I even make it. How is that possible? Did anyuone else experience that?
