From the first game I don't see evert getting behind by more than a minor piece. One continuation is:

Normally I go for at least a draw when behind by a minor piece. But maybe evert knows Tony to be very accurate, and uses a small advantage to always get the win? Not sure.

Being a Guard down due to a silly mistake is a good reason to resign if there's no compensatio.
