Bulldog Invitational #1

This is a tournament I am organizing for the top bulldog players.

The time control rules will be standard. Specific info on these rules can be found here.

It will be an 8-player single-elimination tournament, and will be voted upon by the players whether each round will be decided by one game or a best of three. All games will be rated. Colors for every game will be randomized, unless a player has played 2 of the same color.

Setup: The tournament will be played with classical Witch and Guard. See below

Anybody who plays in this tournament should know all the rules, so that's all.

You may notice there are twelve invitations. That is because I anticipate some players not to play. If the entry list overflows, the top 8 players will be accepted, unless I feel a player is severely underrated, and in most cases, outclasses a higher rated player. You may also notice the twelve players invited are not necessarily the top 12. That is because one is inactive, and the other, in my opinion, is not as good as the other players I have invited. If you see your name in the above list, check your PM's, and let me know you'd like to play!

I'm definitely up for this.

This should be fun to watch. If there's any pair who don't have a mod I can mod one or two games. I guess this is like MLB. If you're not good enough to be in, you might as well be a ref so you can be right in the action.😀😅😀

Losing on move one won't be my intention this time.

I'll accept. Will I win? No. Will it be good for my rating? Probably not. 

Will it be fun? Heck yeah.

Do y’all want it to be a best of three per round or just one game? The games don’t have to be played at the same time. 

I think I like everything being single-game and the chip being best of 3.

Making all of the rounds a best of 3 would take waaaay too long. Only the finals should be a best of three.

What does best of 2 even mean. Is that a joke?
