don't play bullet much. focus on rapid or maybe even blitz if your trying to be fast. bullet is not chess.
Many Grandmasters consider Bullet as a Variant

Hold the piece you want to play on the required square . if you have less time, premove , but do not premove alot as the opponent can play something else and sometimes you hang a piece.

i agree with you. i would suggest first getting scores in the high 30s and 40s in puzzle rush zurvival then trying to see how you can adapt to time pressure.
