I just fought my opponent, blitz. But I played dozens of times without a ranking score of the crytral tournament.

When a game ends, the system queries the back end to see if a game qualifies for league trophies. If that data isn't returned quick enough, the dialog shows the game doesn't qualify. However, the trophies are added if the game qualifies.

My understanding is that how that looks will be changing in the future to remove confusion.
