@Nazza11 -- That's an interesting observation althouht not quite sound if considering what we need to do. In the SLCA we believe that it is of premium importance to fasten up the process that leads to playing. There are 2 sensible reasons for that. 1) It increases the probability that a game is played. 2) It increases the probability that a player can play more than just one game per week.
The second point is rather subtle and needs some clarification. When one offers 3 time slots to play a game, one doesn't need the 3 time slots to be accepted by the opponent, rather only 1. Thus, when there's a quick deal somewhere this means that some untaken residual time slot offers become available for another agreement with another opponent. That's how some guys here successfully achieves playing 4 games per week regularly.
When requesting the first player who shows up to immediately offer 3 time slots, we think that our strategy has more chances to succeed. In chess, time is critical! 
Sunday at 19:00 GMT works for me.

The players are authorized to reschedule and play the game if the non faulty player agrees. They have until December 27 @ 23:59GMT to do so. If rescheduling is impossible the result of the (first) game will be considered for the standings: 0F-1
In case of rescheduling and playing the game the penalties, if any, shall nevertheless remain.
I offer two time slots:
26 at 15.00 GMT
26 at 20.00 GMT
20 works.

This is where the players agree on a common suitable time slot to play the game. The game is to be played before Monday, December 23 of 2013 @ 00:00GMT. The players must use GMT in their conversation even if they both live in the same time zone. Here is a link to our Time Zone Converter. Guidelines for reaching the 3 time slot requirement:
1. A time slot to play before Tuesday @ 12:00 GMT does not count towards the three (3) time slots requirement;
2. There must be at least 24 hours between posting time and playing time for a time slot to count towards the three (3) time slot requirement;
3. There must be at least three (3) hours between each of the time slots;
4. The maximum number of time slots for the same playing day is two (2);
